SUMMARY:OCE Orals Preparation
DESCRIPTION:Our OCE Oral Exam course covers key topics relevant to the role of Open Cut Examiner for open cut mines in NSW. We focus on structure and process to frame your reponses\, which are skills you can adapt in the real world.\nWe don’t churn through past exams\, we focus on providing understanding on these topics and applying a structured approach to your decision-making. \nWe also relate relevant mining legislation into understandable terms to maximise retention. \nAfter each topic\, we run through real world scenarios and how you would manage these as an OCE. \nClasses are limited to 15 people\, to ensure we maximise engagement. If required\, we will create a separate course at different times. \nTopics include: \n\nShotfiring\nInspection Systems\nSlope Stability\nEnironmental Management\nRisk Management\nMine Systems and Exam Techniques\n\nThis course is 9hours over 3 weeks. \n\nSession 1: 8am\, 12 January 2022\nSession 2: 8am\, 19 January 2022\nSession 3: 8am\, 25 January 2022\n\nLight refreshments are provided* \n*Note: Given the current Covid19 restrictions in NSW\, these classes may be conducted online via Microsoft Teams. \nBook Here
