DESCRIPTION:Our Ventilation/Gas Management module is 4 hours of formal training on Underground Coal Ventilation control. We will cover: \n•	Purpose of Ventilation in Coal Mines\n•	Regulatory Framework (Ventilation Control Plan)\n•	Ventilation systems\n•	Ventilation design and minimum standards\n•	Development and Longwall Ventilation\n•	Ventilation control devices\n•	Ventilation modelling\n•	Gas/Dust/Diesel Management\n•	Ventilation/Gas monitoring\n•	Ventilation Changes\n•	Longwall Sealing\n•	Emergency Management\n•	Ventilation responsibilities\n•	Ventilation Case studies x 3 \nAttendees will receive a minimum of 4 hours of formal training that will go towards their Maintenance of Competence for their NSW Practicing Certificate for Deputy/Undermanager/MEM or Ventilation Officer (accompanied by a certificate of completion). \nThis event will be held in person and online (via MS Teams).
