SUMMARY:OCE Orals Preparation
DESCRIPTION:Our OCE Oral Exam course covers key topics relevant to the role of Open Cut Examiner for open cut mines in NSW. We focus on structure and process to frame your reponses\, which are skills you can adapt in the real world.\nWe don’t churn through past exams\, we focus on providing understanding on these topics and applying a structured approach to your decision-making. \nWe also relate relevant mining legislation into understandable terms to maximise retention. \nAfter each topic\, we run through real world scenarios and how you would manage these as an OCE. \nClasses are limited to 15 people\, to ensure we maximise engagement. For Practising Certificate holders\, this counts as formal training towards your Maintenance of Competence. \nWe will cover: \n\nLegislative framework in NSW\, including structure\nSafety Management System including PHMP & PCP\nDuties and consultation\nWorker representation and powers\nRegulator enforcement measures\nIncidents\nEmergency Management\n\nThis event will be held online via Microsoft Teams.
