SUMMARY:MOC Course: Mining Legislation (in person & online)
DESCRIPTION:Our Legislation Overview course is 3.5 hours of formal training on NSW mining legislation. We will cover:\n– Maintenance of Competence system\, explained\n– key parts of the WHS Act/Regs\, and WHS (Mines & Petroleum Sites) Act/Regs\n– key changes introduced by the WHS (Mines & Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022 \nWe focus on parts of the legislation that is commonly confused or misunderstood\, as well as the legislation that underpins our mining operations in NSW. \nWhilst this is specifically for open cut applications\, there is substantial cross over to the underground statutory functions. \nAttendees will receive a minimum of 3.5hours of formal training that will go towards their Maintenance of Competence for their NSW Practicing Certificate (accompanied by a certificate of completion). \nThis event will be held in person (limited to 16) \n  \nBOOK NOW
